UM Military Tactics 651-0 1/72 Oerlikon 20mm/70 Mk.4 AA Gun Mk.IIIA Britain

In the UK ,under license to the swiss company, Oerlikon 20 mm produced automatic cannon "FFS" called "20 mm / 70 (0/79") Marks I, II & IIIA ". Modification Mk IIIA was the most common. This unit was installed on all classes of military ships, vessels and boats of the Navy of Great Britain.

On September 1945 there were about 55,000 guns in service in the British Navy and the Navy community. Some British supply vessels at the end of 2006 to remain armed 20 mm / 70 (0/79 ") Oerlikon guns.
