Messermitt's Bf109 fighter was the main fighter in the Second World War in Germany, designed by Dr. Messermitt and designed in the early 1930s. It is one of the first generations of true modern aircraft fighters, featuring an all-metal fuselage, a lower wing, a closed cockpit and a retractable landing gear.
After the baptism of the Spanish Civil War, the fighters entered the jet era at the end of the Second World War, and the Bf109 remained the mainstay of the German Air Force fighter unit.
In order to improve the performance of the Bf109E series aircraft, the last two prototypes V16 and V17 of the series were manufactured. They have been structurally improved and enhanced the firepower configuration. Both aircraft are the basis of the Bf109E3. The E3 has two MG17 machine guns mounted on the top of the engine and one MG FF cannon on each side of the wing. A total of 1,276 Bf109E-3s were manufactured, including 83 Bf109E-3a export models.
