Trumpeter 02419 1/24 Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-6/8

In 1944 the US began a strategic military offensive using heavily armed long-range B-17 and B-24 bombers and the Luftwaffe designed its specialized Fw190 A-8 variant R2 nicknamed the "Bomber Killer" which proved to be one of the Luftwaffe's best fighters of World War II. Of all the different models, the model A-8, armed with two 13mm machine guns and four 20mm cannons, was the most produced. A more powerful sub-variant of the A-8 was the variant A-8 R2, where the two 20mm guns were replaced by two more powerful 30mm autocannon to attack the giant Allied 4-engine bombers. This Trumpeter model with included components authentically replicates the magnificent FW190 fighter in two variants: A-6 or A-8 in 1/24 scale.
