Trumpeter 07402 1/72 Fennek LGS - German Version

The Fennek, named after a small desert fox, is a light, four-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle manufactured by the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and the Dutch defense company. Its deployment led to the gradual replacement of their existing reconnaissance vehicles by the German Army and the Royal Netherlands Army.

In April 2000, the prototype completed field trials, and production was ordered to begin in December 2001. The Royal Netherlands Army required 410 vehicles, while the German Army initially equipped itself with 222.
