Trumpeter 07103 1/72 Israel Merkava Mk.III

The Merkava is the main battle tank used by the Israel Defense Forces. Development of the tank began in 1973, and it entered service in 1978. Currently, four variants of the Merkava tank have been developed. It was first widely used in the 1982 Lebanon War. The name "Merkava" comes from the name of the IDF's initial development program, meaning "chariot" in Hebrew.
