Trumpeter 03425 1/700 F-14B/D Tomcat 12pc

A supersonic aircraft, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat twin-engine aircraft seats two crew members, an aviator, and a Radar Intercept Officer. The Tomcat has operated only with the US Navy and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The nickname “Tomcat” stems from the call sign of Vice Admiral Thomas Connolly, who ascribed to the USN’s tradition of naming Grumman aircraft with feline monikers. This kit includes 144 parts for assembling a set of F-14B/D aircraft in 1/700 scale. The completed models are 2.7cm long and have a wingspan of 2.8cm.
