Messerschmitt's Bf109 fighter was Germany's main fighter in World War II. It was designed by Dr. Messerschmitt and its design was completed in the early 1930s. It was one of the first generation of fighter fighters in a truly modern sense, featuring all-metallic fuselage, lower single wing, closed cockpit and retractable landing gear. After the baptism of the Spanish Civil War, Bf109 remained the mainstay of the Luftwaffe fighter unit in the era of jets at the end of World War II. In order to improve the performance of the Bf109E series aircraft, the last two prototypes of the series V16 and V17 were manufactured. They have undergone structural improvements and enhanced firepower deployment. Both aircraft are the basis of the Bf109E3. The E3 is equipped with two MG17 machine guns on the upper part of the engine, and one MG FF cannon on each of its wings. A total of 1,276 Bf109E-3s were manufactured, including 83 Bf109E-3a export models.
