Tomix N KIHA 100 2nd Batch M

The Kiha 100 diesel car was introduced in 1990 to replace the Kiha 20 and Kiha 45 series.
Four prototype cars were manufactured first, and then four improved mass-produced cars (first batch) were manufactured in 1991, and in the same year, a second batch of cars with modified skirt shapes and other features was released.

They were mainly active on the Ofunato Line, Kitakami Line, Yamada Line, Kamaishi Line, and Ominato Line, but will be replaced by the Kiha 110 series and will retire from the Ofunato Line with the March 2025 timetable revision. At the same time, prototype and first-generation train are also being retired.
