Tomix 2243 N DE10-1000 Type Diesel Locomotive Wwarm Region Model

The DE10 class was introduced in 1966 as a general-purpose diesel locomotive for use on branch lines and for shunting freight cars. It was

the only JNR-type vehicle to be inherited by all seven JR companies at the time of privatization, and is currently used by six companies except JR Central for shunting and towing freight and special trains.

The vehicles used in the Kyushu region during the JNR era were characterized by the omission of the white stripe between the headlights, and this paint scheme was also inherited by the vehicles that were later moved to Honshu and privatized.
