Tamiya 47523 1/14 Mercedes Benz 4151 8x2 RC Tipper Truck Kit Candy Green

The Arocs series is a line of heavy-duty models introduced in 2013 by the world's leading truck manufacturer, Daimler Truck AG. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Arocs 4151 8x4 dump truck (gross vehicle weight: 41t), which runs on a 12.8-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine capable of 510hp. 

The highly realistic polystyrene body has been pre-painted in the Tamiya Color TS-52 Candy Lime Green and given a lustrous urethane topcoat; the distinctive "bucket tooth" grille is recreated using separate parts, and there is plenty more to enjoy with rooftop light pods and a realistic interior.

• The assembly type 3-speed transmission allows gear changes via a separately available 4-channel transmitter.

This is a highly exact 1/14 scale radio control model that recreates the Mercedes-Benz Arocs dump truck in the 8x4 configuration. It features a highly realistic truck bed section behind the cab which can be operated by the radio transmitter, using the separately sold Actuator Set (Item 56545)! Unlike our earlier release, this version of the Arocs comes is a color variation. The cab and other parts are pre- painted in TS-52 Candy Lime Green and TS-29 Semi-Gloss Black, with a urethane top coating for a high- quality finish.

The model's ladder frame chassis features aluminum side channels with resin cross members and is equipped with a highly realistic suspension using metal leaf springs and friction shock-dampers. A front-mounted motor and 3-speed transmission power the two rear wheel axles, which are fitted with built-in differentials to enable smooth cornering. A separately sold 4-channel R/C system and multi-function unit allow you to drive the vehicle and experience realistic lights, sounds and vibrations. (Both sold separately)

• TR mighty-tuned motor (35T) provides twin rear axles with ample power to carry loads in the truck bed.
• The new battery case is found over the second axle, which allows access even when there are loads in the bed.
• The roof features a depiction of light pods on the visor, which can be fitted with LEDs for a realistic finish.
• 3-speed transmission can be controlled via a separately sold 4ch R/C transmitter.
• Metal leaf spring dampers with built-in coil springs provide durable suspension.
• Use with separately sold MFC-03 (Item 56523) (or MFC-01, Item 56511) for realistic lights and sounds.
• The highly realistic cab plus H, K, M, HH and vessel parts are molded in green and pre-painted in TS-52
• Candy Lime Green and TS-29 Semi-Gloss Black, with a urethane top coating.
• L (interior) parts are molded in black (originally was white) and paints are not needed.
