The Tachikawa Ki-106 was a prototype fighter developed late in the war to make use of non-strategic materials. Basically, it was a wooden Ki-84, retaining the lines of the original but being much heavier. Only a couple of prototypes were built before the war ended. This boxing has markings for two "what if" schemes, a home defense IJA aircraft and a Manchurian aircraft.
