RPM 35061 1/35 Renault FT-17 Mitrailleur Girod Turret

The French Renault FT-17 (Renault FT modele 1917) was one of the light tanks that made its debut in WWI. It was a revolutionary tank design as it was the first tank with the armament in a fully rotating turret. Over 3,800 FT-17s were produced with variants of an octagonal turret or later rounded turret (called Berliet turret). In the US, the FT-17 was commonly referred to as the Six Ton Tank Model 1917 and about 950 were built.
