Roden 825 1/35 German Army Horch V8 Type 830R Command Car

Light vehicle of the German army, developed from the civilian car Horch 830 in 1934. For the needs of the army, the basic design was greatly simplified, but the main structural elements were considerably reinforced to meet the demands of the army. From 1934 to 1937, a total of almost 4,500 units of this type were produced, which were widely used from the early days of World War II until 1943 inclusive, when the vast majority of them were lost in the roadless conditions of the Eastern Front. The Horch 830-R is considered the first example of a Kubelwagen type vehicle widely used in the German army during the war.
