Description

The construction of GAZ-MM Truck was much simplified after beginning of the war. The aim of this efforts was cheapening the cost of the trick, avoiding the use of rear materials and adaptation to the war conditions. As a result only the front wall of cabin remained unchanged. The truck lost the right headlight and bumper, the stamped wings were replaced by welded bents.

138,600 GAZ-MM trucks were manufactured during the war years.
