Modelsvit 72010 1/72 Mikoyan I-3U I-420 Soviet Interceptor

The I-3U ( or I-420) was a prototype of Soviet interceptor, designed in mid 1950s. The plane was equipped with innovated flight system "Uragan-1” ( in English: Hurricane-1"), which was intended for automated flight control and shooting. Although the I-3U has shown excellent flight performance during its tests program, due to the unreliability of its VC-3 jet engine, the whole project was canceled in 1958.

Molded in gray and clear plastic, this kit includes decals, and will be 12.5cm wide and 20.6cm long when built.
