The Meng MT009S is a large-scale 1:9 scale model of the BMW M 1000 RR motorcycle, in a Pre-Colored edition. The sprues are delivered in their final colors, with factory-applied carbon fiber textures on the fairings, winglets, and fuel tank. This allows the model to be assembled without painting or gluing. This solution shortens the path to a stunning result while still allowing modelers to customize their paint jobs.

The 999cc inline-four engine, twin-spar frame, inverted front fork, and carbon-fiber rims are all replicated. The kit is complemented by stainless steel brake discs, rubber-like tires, photo-etched parts, mirror-like mirror decals, and a water-spray decal with a dashboard.

Includes

  • Plastic moldings, factory-colored, with carbon fiber texture reproduction
  • Stainless steel brake discs
  • Tires made of rubber-like material
  • Photoetched parts
  • Mirror stickers for rearview mirrors
  • Water decals, including clock panel
  • Illustrated assembly instructions

The BMW M 1000 RR is the highest-performance production motorcycle in the Bavarian manufacturer's lineup—the first machine to bear the M designation, previously reserved for BMW's top-of-the-line automobile models. Its design is derived from the S 1000 RR, but it has been refined for the track: a more powerful engine, aerodynamic winglets, lighter carbon fiber wheels, and a more powerful braking system.

At the heart of the bike is a 999cc inline-four engine with ShiftCam variable valve timing, developing approximately 205-212 hp depending on year and market. The bike has 45mm inverted front forks, dual front disc brakes, and advanced electronics to aid handling.

The M 1000 RR is the basis for the machines competing in the Superbike World Championship, where BMW won the championship titles in the 2024 and 2025 seasons. It is a motorcycle homologated for road use, but designed with the track in mind – with distinctly racing ergonomics and aerodynamics.
