Hasegawa 7559 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M2B Zero Fighter Type 21 Zuikaku Fighter Group

This 1/48-scale model kit from Hasegawa reproduces the MItsubishi A6M2 Zero Fighter Type 21 belonging to the Zuikaku Fighter Squadron from February 1943.

This aircraft was deployed aboard the aircraft carrier Zuikaku, which advanced to Rabaul Air Base to support the Guadalcanal evacuation. Decals are included for aircraft carrier Zuikaku Fighter Squadron aircraft A1-1-129, manufactured by Nakajima, Rabaul Air Base, February 1943, and aircraft carrier Zuikaku Fighter Squadron aircraft A1-1-110, manufactured by Mitsubishi, Rabaul Air Base, February 1943.
