A 1/700 scale set of prototype carrier-based aircraft deployed to the front lines in the latter half to the end of the Pacific War!

There were several carrier-based aircraft that were introduced and prototyped from 1944 to the end of the Pacific War.

The Zero Fighter, which had been active as the main carrier-based fighter for a long time and had been improved from time to time, was undergoing prototype development, and the Ryusei, a carrier-based attack aircraft that could be used for bombing and torpedo attacks, began to be deployed on land in 1945.
The Suisei carrier-based bomber, which was crying due to malfunction of its liquid-cooled engine and difficulty in increasing production, began mass production of the Type 32, which had been changed to an air-cooled engine, in the summer of 1944. The Saiun began to be used as a reconnaissance aircraft around the time of the Battle of the Mariana Sea.

The Ohka was developed as a small rocket gliding bomb dedicated to special attacks and was deployed in Taiwan, Okinawa, and other places.

In the latter half of the war, improved and new aircraft were being deployed as the main carrier-based aircraft of the Japanese Navy.
Carrier-based fighters began to be replaced from the Type 21 Zero to the Type 52, the Type 99 carrier bombers were replaced by Suisei carrier bombers, and the Type 97 carrier attack planes were replaced by Tenzan carrier attack planes, and they took part in organized operational actions during Operation A-Go (Battle of the Philippine Sea) in June 1944.

Features

  • Designed as a carrier-based aircraft in line with the "precision" concept of the Toku series.
  • Five types of aircraft, including carrier-based fighters, bombers, attack aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft, and kamikaze planes transported by aircraft carriers, are all in one, without having to buy each model separately.
  • This is the perfect content for recreating a task force if operational aircraft carriers were still in operation around 1945.
  • The set includes 16 aircraft in total, including 6 Reppu, 2 Suisei Carrier Bomber 32 Type, 4 Ryusei Carrier Attack, and 4 Saiun Carrier Reconnaissance.
  • The molding color is gray, which reduces the risk of damage during construction compared to the conventional transparent color. Decals are included for nationality marking.
