Here's a set of 1/700-scale Japanese Navy aircraft carrier-based aircraft that were active in the first half of the Pacific War!

The product is a 1/700 scale unpainted kit that requires gluing and painting. This product uses the conventional (G-up series) mold.

When the Pacific War began in 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy's main aircraft carriers were equipped with the latest aircraft. The aircraft carriers Akagi, Kaga, Soryu, Hiryu, Shokaku, and Zuikaku were the main battleships, and later Junyo, Hiyo, Shoho, and Zuiho also joined the front lines. The trio of the A6M Zero fighter, A6M Type 99 bomber, and A6M Type 97 attack plane participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Indian Ocean Operation, and the Battle of the Coral Sea, achieving great success.

In the Midway Operation in 1942, the A6M Type 2 reconnaissance plane was experimentally carried on the Soryu, but the carrier fighters, bombers, and attack planes were not updated to new aircraft for some time until 1943.

Features

  • The model composition is suitable for wartime completed aircraft carriers such as the Nagumo Mobile Force, Junyo, and Shoho.
  • The number of aircraft is 18 in total, including 6 Zero fighters, 6 Type 99 carrier bombers, 4 Type 97 carrier attack planes, and 2 Type 2 carrier reconnaissance planes.
