From 1984 to 2001, the Jeep Cherokee XJ rewrote the off-road rulebook. It was the first compact SUV to run a unibody design and still deliver real trail muscle. No oversized bulk. The Axial® 1/10 SCX10™ III Jeep Cherokee XJ 4X4 RTR brings that 2001 attitude back with scale accuracy and true crawler DNA. This is not a generic SUV shell dropped onto a chassis. This is Axial and Jeep coming together to honor a platform that helped shape modern rock crawling.

Axial secured official licensing and executed a true Jeep Cherokee XJ with exact proportions, real body lines, and zero compromise. Offered in factory-correct Forest Green Pearl and Stone White, the second-generation body is paired with BFGoodrich Krawler T/A KX tires on KMC KM444 MESA wheels, the same hardware trusted on full-size rock rigs. Up front, a WARN EVO10-S non-functional scale winch, a DirtBound bumper, and a machined aluminum Factor 55 Hawse Fairlead complete the recovery-ready look with authentic presence.

Under the body, the steel C-channel chassis pairs with AR45 straight axles, 6mm stainless steel suspension links, all-metal pivot balls, and tunable oil-filled shocks with aluminum threaded bodies. The LCXU DIG transmission with DIG locks the rear wheels for sharper turns through tight terrain, operated via the Spektrum™ SLT3 transmitter's third channel. The S683 servo with steel output gear, Axial Slick Rock 35-turn 540-size motor, and Spektrum Firma™ 40A waterproof brushed ESC deliver dependable trail performance. Bright LED lights round out the build for realistic night crawling.
