The 2004 Bathurst 1000 pole position was clinched by Steven Richards, driving the No. 11 Holden VY Commodore for Perkins Engineering. After qualifying third fastest, Richards' shootout lap of 2 minutes 7.9611 seconds around the iconic Mount Panorama circuit showcased his skill and determination. Incredibly, it was the fastest by only 0.0012 seconds, marking the closest-ever pole position margin in the history of the Great Race.

It was the first and only pole position for Steven Richards at Bathurst, despite winning the event five times over the course of his career.

This two sided gold plated metal and enamel medallion features an image of the Holden VY Commodore presented with year, car and driver details and the pole time on the back.

The medallion measures a large 100mm in diameter and 4mm thick and comes presented in an even bigger clear acrylic display stand which not only protects the medallion from dust and scratches, but also acts as the perfect way to display this collectors item. The medallion has been designed to be displayed from either the front or back giving collectors two different, eye catching options.
