Trumpeter 07456 1/72 M1132 Stryker Engineer Squad Vehicle with SOB

The M1132 Stryker Engineering Support Vehicle (ESV) is one of eight variants of the Stryker family. It possesses the same mobility as the Stryker Armored Personnel Carrier, making it easier to transport engineers across rough terrain. Older vehicles struggled to keep pace with infantry advances, severely hindering mission execution. Now, however, they share the same mobility. Besides its power system, the ESV shares many similarities with other Stryker family members. It is also equipped with a remote weapon station for two Javelin anti-tank missiles and a 12.7mm machine gun. It features a camera, allowing the driver to monitor the vehicle's surroundings. Additionally, the commander has a touchscreen display showing information for the gunner and driver.

The ESV provides engineer squads with high mobility and protection, enabling them to provide necessary mobility and limited counter-attack capabilities at key positions on the battlefield. The ESV also integrates existing obstacle clearing equipment, pathway marking systems, and mine detection devices.
