Trumpeter 01610 1/72 Shenyang F-8II Finback-B

The F-8Ⅱ "Fishbeard" -B produced by Shenyang is characterized by the use of redesigned two-sided air inlets and nose instead of the air inlet on the J-8. The fixed nose provides ample space for a larger fire control radar antenna and can obtain better target search and tracking capabilities. The aircraft made its first test flight on June 12, 1984, but did not officially show up until 1986. The first batch of manufacture was said to have begun in 1988 and the aircraft officially entered service in 1992.
