Trumpeter 01503 1/35 Canadian Husky 6x6 APS Upgrade

The AVGP (All-Vehicle General Purpose) armored vehicle family includes three variants: the Jaguar, the Grizzly, and the Husky. The AVGP family entered service in 1976. The original plan was for a total of 195 Jaguars, intended for both regular and reserve forces. However, in 1999, due to the military's rationalization program allowing the procurement of the Coyote reconnaissance vehicle, the Jaguar procurement was reduced to 100 vehicles, all of which were assigned to reserve forces. The AVGP series vehicles have undergone a life extension program, which increased the commonality of parts with the Bison and Coyote to improve logistical reliability and supportability. Total production of the AVGP family: 100 Jaguars, 274 Grizzlys, and 27 Huskies.
