Zheng He's voyages in the early 15th century, led by the Chinese navigator Zheng He, constituted seven voyages, fully demonstrating the Chinese people's navigational capabilities and knowledge. They used planetary science as a guide, enabling them to undertake long-distance voyages across the oceans. Simultaneously, they possessed sophisticated shipbuilding techniques, allowing their massive fleet to reach the coasts of Asia, Arabia, and Africa. A brief introduction to Zheng He's treasure ships: The third year of the Yongle reign (1405-1430 AD) was the fifth year of the Xuande reign of the Ming Dynasty. These were the flagships of the seven voyages of the eunuch Zheng He to the Western Ocean. According to the History of Ming, the treasure ships were 44 zhang long and 18 zhang wide, with nine masts and twelve sails. The sails, anchors, and rudder required two to three hundred men to operate. This model is made at a 1:60 scale. Zheng He (1371-1435), a famous Ming Dynasty navigator, was originally surnamed Ma, courtesy name Sanbao. He was a Hui Muslim from Kunyang (now Jinning, Yunnan). In the early Ming Dynasty, he entered the palace as a eunuch and served under Emperor Yongle (the third emperor of the Yongle reign). He was given the surname Zheng and served as an inner palace eunuch, known in history as the famous Eunuch Sanbao. In the third year of the Yongle reign (1405), he was ordered to lead a fleet to the Western Ocean. The fleet consisted of more than 200 ships of various sizes and more than 27,800 sailors and crew. Over a period of 28 years, he made seven voyages, visiting more than 30 countries in the Southwest Pacific, Indian Ocean, South America, and East Africa.
