Trumpeter 01090 KZKT-74282 Heavy Tractor

The ZKT-7428 was designed to tow semi-trailers with a maximum load capacity of 70 tons and could operate on both roads and in the field. It entered service with the Soviet Army in 1981, replacing the previous MAZ-537 tractor. The Rusich Automobile Complex (formerly the Kurgan Truck Plant) is now Russia's only manufacturer of heavy-duty off-road vehicles. The KZKT-7428 series was also sold for civilian use, for transporting oil and gas.

The driver's cab of the vehicle can seat five people. The rear seats can be converted into sleeper berths for two people.

This vehicle uses a YaMZ-8401.10-14 turbocharged diesel engine, producing 650 horsepower. The engine is located behind the cab. The KZKT-7428 boasts exceptional off-road capabilities and can operate normally in any climate with a temperature range of -50 to +50°C.

The KZKT-74282 is a heavy-duty tractor unit used to tow large aircraft or extra-large and extra-heavy cargo.
