Trumpeter 00330 1/35 JGSDF NBC Detection

The Type 87 chemical defense vehicle was developed from the Type 82 command and communication vehicle. A collection device is installed at the rear of the vehicle. The chemical defense vehicle is mainly used to detect areas contaminated by chemicals, biological and nuclear pollution. For this purpose, the sealing of the vehicle body has been improved, an air filter device has been installed, and the cab is protected by lead plates. As a counterattack against possible attacks, a remote-controlled 12.7mm machine gun is installed on the upper right side of the rear of the vehicle. There is an operator at the rear of the vehicle who collects and analyzes samples such as contaminated soil by controlling the collection device in the vehicle. The vehicle can safely and quickly measure and analyze pollution in various environments.
