Tomix 7164 N 7164 EF510-0 with additional equipment type

The EF510-0 series is an AC/DC electric locomotive that was introduced in 2002 to replace the EF81 series and began operation in 2004. It was nicknamed "ECO-POWER Red Thunder" due to its red-based body paint, and the logo is placed on the body. It is mainly used on the Nihonkai Jukan Line, where the EF81 series was previously used, but in recent years it has been used on the Chuo-Nishi Line and the Tokaido-Sanyo Main Line up to Okayama, and its range of use has expanded. After the introduction of the passenger-use 500 series, the 21st locomotive and later, changes were made to the appearance, such as changing the position of the signal flare to directly above the assistant driver's side in the cab, as with the 500 series.
