The 72 and 73 series in the Hiroshima area were introduced when the Kure Line was electrified, and toilets were added to all Saha 78 cars and some Kuha 79 cars.

The Kumoha 73 and Kuha 79 series were later transferred to the Kabe Line and operated as four-car sets of two two-car sets during rush hour, but were retired in 1984.

  • The Kuha 79-466 reproduces the car with the remaining triple window
  • The car number is printed
  • The H-rubber is reproduced in gray
  • The ventilator and lightning arrester are already installed
  • The head and tail lights and front display unit are equipped with a constant-on board and have an ON-OFF switch
  • The head and tail lights and front display unit are illuminated by incandescent color LEDs
  • The front display unit of KuMoHa 73-027 is illuminated by white LEDs
  • The front display unit of KuMoHa 73-021 and 027 uses a color prism to light up in a color close to white
  • The front display unit comes with separate parts "(white background) and (no printing)"
  • Equipped with close-coupling TN coupler with piping (SP)
  • The TN coupler has the same shape as the new performance electric train and has a straight body support
  • The driver's cab side of the leading car uses a TN coupler with a small body support
