The Kiha 183 series is a diesel express train that first appeared in 1979.

The 6000 series was a vehicle that was made by converting the 500 and 550 series cars into tatami rooms, and in 1999, two leading cars and one middle car were introduced. These cars were used in three-car independent formations and as single-car couplings on regular trains.

Features

• Each car body has been newly reproduced, with changes made due to modifications such as some windows being filled in
• The roof has been newly reproduced with changes from the previous model, such as the ventilation device with a different shape and the satellite broadcasting antenna
• Each seat has been reproduced as a tatami room (M cars are flat)
• The taillights added to the through doors on each coupling surface of the actual car have been reproduced (they do not light up)
• The symbol mark and car number on the side are printed
• The driver's cab side of the leading car is equipped with a TN coupler
• A skirt and bogie frame are included to make the driver's cab side of the leading car an Arnold coupler
• Each bogie uses a bogie with a yaw damper expression
• The head and tail lights and train mark are lit by incandescent color LEDs
• The train mark lights up in a color close to white by using a color prism
• The printed train mark "Special" is installed, and "Hana to Shitsugen-go, HOKUTO, Okhotsk (OK mark)" are included
• Uses a power source with a flywheel
• Uses a new current collection system and black wheels
• Uses an M-13 motor
