The RF-8G was an aircraft with the engine and avionics of the RF-8A, whose name was changed from F8U-1P in the 1962 model name reorganization. A total of 73 of this aircraft were refurbished.
The kit comes with a resin ejection seat, painting mask seals, and decals for two versions (U.S. Navy VFP-63, BuNo. 146845 "NP603," CVA-19 Hancock carrier-based aircraft, 1971, and U.S. Navy VFP-63, BuNo. 145645 "PP907," CVA-19 Hancock carrier-based aircraft, 1967.
This model kit is minus-molded for delicate panel lines and excellent detail; the included decals are also of very high quality.
