The Rheinbote (German for "Messenger of the Rhine") was a four-stage, solid-fueled surface-to-surface rocket weapon developed by Germany's Rheinmetall during World War II.

By 1945, over 200 Rheinbote rockets had been produced, all of which were deployed to the German Army's 709th Artillery Battalion.

The Rheinbote had an extremely slender design, measuring 11.4 meters in length but only a few tens of centimeters in diameter. For launching, the mobile Meilerwagen transporter-erector (originally designed for the V-2 rocket) was used.

This 1/72 scale kit represents the first plastic model of the Rheinbote rocket on the market, making it an extremely attractive addition for collectors and modellers interested in WWII military technology. The model faithfully depicts the rocket's unique construction, including its four solid-fuel stages and distinctive stabilizing surfaces. Building the model will provide deeper insight into the technical aspects of this lesser-known but important weapon, which was deployed in limited numbers at the end of the war.

With this kit you can enrich your collection with a model of a weapon that, although not widely used, represents an important step in the development of missile technology and offers a fascinating insight into the engineering innovations of the time.
