The 1997 Thailand Rally was a tough, humid test for both drivers and machines, and the Subaru Impreza WRX proved perfectly suited to the challenge.

Driven by Rui Madeira with co-driver Nuno Rodrigues da Silva, the car carried Subaru’s unmistakable rally presence into the jungles and dusty stages of Southeast Asia. Its signature blue paintwork, bold graphics and purposeful stance made it one of the most memorable entries of the event.
