Meng 1/35 ZTQ15 Light Tank w/Cage Armor Model Kit

The ZTQ15 light tank is an important land equipment independently developed by China for plateau and woodland operations. Powered by a new-generation power system, this tank’s maximum speed can be close to 60 km/h on the plateau above 4,500m above the sea level. It’s equipped with a 105mm rifled gun which is capable of firing various types of rounds and launching gun-launched missiles. It’s also fitted with a remote controlled weapon station armed with a 30mm grenade launcher and a machine gun. Although this tank weighs only 35 tons, its modular protection design allows the installation of reactive armor according to the combat intensity, to resist the attack of enemy heavy tanks. The ZTQ15 light tank has a new-generation fire control system and a complete on-board information combat system, which gives it powerful information processing capabilities and situational awareness capabilities. So it can maneuver first, discover first and attack first when encountering enemy forces. As an iconic tank among the information combat equipment, the ZTQ15 light tank is in service with the PLA Army and Marines. It’s nicknamed Black Panther.
