Rye Field Models 5103 1/35 Leopard 2A6 Main Battle Tank Limited Edition

The Leopard 2 is a German third-generation main battle tank, and the Leopard 2A6 is a KWS (Kampfwersteigerung = combat capability enhancement) improvement that replaces the A5 44-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun with a 55-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun. Its weight has also been increased to 62.56 tons. In 2023, German announced that it would supply Ukraine with 14 Leopard 2 vehicles, and also approved donations from other countries, with 12 countries expected to deliver a total of 100 vehicles to Ukraine. Kontakt 1 is a first-generation ERA (Explosive Reactive Armor) developed in the Soviet Union and adopted in 1985.
