Thanks to the included colors, you can immediately give the model the right coat of paint. The finished model impresses with its harmonious proportions and is ideal for gaining initial experience with applying waterslide decals.

Background information

The Spitfire Mk.IIa was a further development of the famous fighter from the Battle of Britain. Equipped with a more powerful Merlin engine, it offered Royal Air Force (RAF) pilots decisive advantages in air combat. This model represents an aircraft from the "Air Fighting Development Unit" that was stationed in Doxford, England in April 1942. Such units were essential to develop new combat tactics and ensure superiority over the Luftwaffe.
