2019 marked the 20th anniversary of the Mini-Z, a palm-sized R/C car series. Now, standing at a new starting point, the Mini-Z series has evolved further with a completely redesigned series aiming to achieve the "ultimate sense of scale." Its name is the Mini-Z 4x4. While Mini-Z is known for its high performance and the high-quality injection-molded bodies that exude a sense of scale, the Mini-Z 4x4's greatest appeal is its detailed, decoration-focused design that surpasses conventional Mini-Z bodies. The body has also been intentionally made thicker to improve crash resistance. Meanwhile, the 4WD chassis, which uses a ladder frame similar to that of a real car, boasts a long stroke and incorporates an upper A-arm and 3-link rigid axle suspension, and is equipped with a high-torque Mini-Z 4x4-specific steering servo. It not only performs well in normal driving conditions but also possesses the off-road capability to easily clear rough terrain with obstacles reminiscent of a rock crawling field. The dedicated 130 motor, which excels in torque characteristics in the low to medium speed range, further enhances the driving performance of the Mini-Z 4x4. Thus, the Mini-Z 4x4 achieves a high level of balance between a visually appealing, highly detailed body and driving performance that is even suitable for serious rock crawling, and what's great is that the only thing you need to purchase separately to run it is eight AAA alkaline batteries! • Features a full-fledged solid axle linkage, similar to 1/10 scale models, ensuring the necessary driving performance and wheel travel for a crawler model.
• Uses a specially tuned high-torque 130 motor. The main gear unit is also equipped with a slipper clutch that relieves torque under high load to protect the drivetrain.
• Uses a high-torque servo specifically designed for crawler models, supporting authentic crawling driving. Furthermore, the steering linkage has been optimized to achieve the largest steering angle in Mini-Z history.
• Full bearing specification with a total of 18 ball bearings. Metal gears with superior robustness are used in load-bearing parts.
• The "KT-531P" transmitter uses the FHSS 2.4GHz system, and the steering wheel uses sponge to improve operability.
• A fully assembled product with binding already applied. Just insert batteries and it's ready to run.
• An optional light set (MZW429R) can be attached to the top of the circuit board. The lights illuminate in accordance with throttle operation, and the headlight illumination interval can be adjusted from steady on to flashing using the transmitter's trim.
• Compatible with the separately sold gyro unit (MZW446), and manual adjustment is possible via volume control, just like the RWD/AWD series.
