The modified model, which is based on the E30 type 320, participates in touring car races not only in Europe but also in Japan and other countries around the world. He showed off his performance. Then, from 1993, the E36 type appeared, and from 2000, the M3 based on the E46 appeared. The homologation model 320si, based on the E90 type, has appeared on the WTCC stage since 2006.
