The 115 series is a DC suburban train designed for steeply sloping sections.

The third-sector Shinano Railway also operates the 115 series, formerly operated by JR East, which is in the original grey and red with white stripes and is attracting attention as the last 115 series in the eastern Japan region.

• The gray parts are reproduced with the current paint, not gunmetal
• The pantograph of the Moha 114 type is equipped with a single arm
• The underfloor of the Moha 114 type is reproduced with the auxiliary power unit converted to SIV on the actual car
• The bearings of each bogie are reproduced with sealed roller bearings

• The H-rubber part of the window is reproduced in black
• The front display part is replaceable and comes with printed parts ``Regular (One-man) / Regular (Navy blue)'', and ``Rapid / Rapid One-man'' is included as a sticker
• The headlights are lit with warm white LEDs, and the taillights are lit with red LEDs
