The HMS Zulu Destroyer was a Tribal-class British destroyer built by builders Alexander Stephen and Sons in Glasgow. The destroyer was laid down on August 27th, 1936, launched on September 23rd, 1937, and commissioned on September 6th, 1938. One of its unique features is a tribal design, which was fitted with an above-water quadruple mount for torpedoes and self-defense with ASDIC, a depth charge rack, and two throwers. The destroyer of this class could yield speeds of up to 41mph (36 knots) and, during WWII, served as the mighty escort ship for most of the Royal Navy's ships, continuing its service during the Cold War and the Korean War. With over 250 parts, this model kit faithfully recreates the HMS Zulu Destroyer 1941 on a 1/350 scale. The fully assembled model is 32.8cm long.
