Consolidated Freightways began producing trucks in 1930, manufacturing trucks under the Freightliner brand. In 1951, White Motor Company took over the sales of Freightliner, and White Freightliner was born. The cooperative relationship between White Motor Company and Freightliner continued for a quarter of a century thereafter, and White Freightliner's cab-over engine models also gained high praise throughout the United States, and they became a common sight, especially on transcontinental highways.

This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Freightliner Aerodyne, a representative model of American heavy-duty trucks. This large model, measuring 338mm in finished length, faithfully reproduces the dynamic style of an American truck, complete with a large sleeper cab mounted on a distinctive bonnet. The chassis is modeled from the ladder frame assembly, including the rear two-axle axle and suspension. Beneath the bonnet, the powerful engine and its auxiliary components are reproduced in detail, and the bonnet can be opened and closed even after completion. The cabin interior is also provided with separate parts for the lining, allowing you to enjoy a highly realistic finish. The tires are hollow for added realism. There are plenty of plated parts, including the fuel tank, exhaust pipe, and wheels. The coupling coupler at the rear of the vehicle is also reproduced in detail, making it a great addition to your display with the various trailers available in Italeri's extensive lineup.
