In March 1998, the Steed VLS was introduced as an additional model to the popular Steed lineup, known for its powerful, pulse-like ride quality from the four-stroke V-twin engine and its relaxed, comfortable cruising feel. Released to mark the 10th anniversary of the Steed series, the VLS embraced a more custom-oriented style. It featured a classic springer front fork, a large 21-inch front tire, and a seamless, flange-less fuel tank with a sleek finish that enhanced its distinctive appearance.
