Tamiya 1/24 Citroen 2CV

The Citroën 2 CV is a French compact economy car that achieved massive success - about 3.66 million units were produced from 1948 until 1990. This simply and logically constructed vehicle was powered by an air-cooled flat-twin engine in the front and offered a comfortable drive with its roomy interior for 4 people. It was even said that the ride was so soft that you could transport eggs across a plowed field without them cracking. Despite at first being uncharitably dubbed a “tin can” by some people, its practicality and unique style made the Citroën 2 CV a much-loved masterpiece.

Engine bay features detailed depictions of the compact air-cooled flat-twin engine, fan and air cleaner.

The optional open canvas roof lets you check the simple interior with one-spoke steering wheel, seats and sun visors.

Canvas roof has 2 assembly options (open or closed), and driver side flap-up window is recreated as open.

Instrument panel and license plate are recreated with decals.
