Hasegawa 1/700 IJN Battleship Hiei

The "Japanese Navy High-Speed ​​Battleship Hiei" is now available as a 1/700 scale model kit.

Of all the Japanese battleships, perhaps no other ship followed such a remarkable fate as the Hiei. Due to the circumstances at the time, while the lead ship Kongo was ordered from the Vickers shipyard in England, the Hiei was entrusted to the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal, where the blueprints were provided and British technology was learned. It was completed in 1914, becoming the first super-dreadnought battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy built by Japanese engineers.
