Kotare 1/32 P-47D Thunderbolt 'Razorback'

The massive Republic P-47 was second only to the P-51 in importance to the USAAF war effort in terms of fighters. Esteemed CAD artist Jason McAdam, formerly of WNW, has come back to kit designing after 5 years of honing his skills in the engineering industry. He is relishing the opportunity to get back to designing aeroplanes and has absolutely thrown himself into the P-47 design. The kitset will be created according to our usual principles of accuracy, ease of build and scale surface detail. In fact, surface detail is going to be a big part of this design. Seeing that so many P-47s flew in a natural metal finish, we are working with our moulding partners to create the "impression" of rivets without resorting to simple 'holes" in the surface of the plastic.
