Historical information

The T-50 Golden Eagle is a modern, advanced jet trainer developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) in collaboration with Lockheed Martin for the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF). It entered service in the early 21st century (first flight in 2002, entering service in 2005) and remains in service today, both in South Korea and with the air forces of several other countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
