Hasegawa 1/48 SH-3H Sea King

The Sikorsky SH-3H Sea King is an anti-submarine helicopter of the United States Navy. It is a large, twin-engine turbine helicopter adopted by the Navy as a successor to the HSS-1 helicopter that it had previously used.

Because the SH-3H Sea King was developed as a carrier-based aircraft, its five main rotor blades are designed to fold automatically, and the tail boom of the rear rotor also has a folding mechanism. The SH-3H Sea King, whose primary operational area is the sea,
has a watertight, semi-monocoque fuselage structure, which, combined with auxiliary floats on the sides of the fuselage, enables excellent water landing performance.
