Although emus cannot fly, they can run farther and faster than many birds. At speeds over 50 km/h, they race with the wind. Because they only move forward and never backward, emus — like kangaroos — symbolize a nation that keeps moving onward.

Even in harsh desert conditions, emus are experts at survival — finding food, conserving water, and thriving where others cannot. Strength hidden within resilience.

But the desert too is changing from climate shifts and human impact. That’s why we support the Arid Recovery Centre in central South Australia, protecting emus and many other desert animals together. Your choice helps secure a safer home for life in the desert.
