While the Mitsubishi A6M Zero gets all the attention and all the credit, it was the Nakajima Ki43 that actually shot down more Allied planes than any other Japanese aircraft. It was more maneuverable, fast, and lethal. Like its more famous compatriot, however, the Ki-43 suffered from light armor and a lack of self-sealing fuel tanks. These two features together made the Hayabusa highly vulnerable to damage from enemy fighters. This limited edition kit features new cowling, exhaust, oil cooler, wheel, and fuel pipe resin parts, plus decals for two versions.
