GMU 48004 1/48 WWII US Cargo Trailer Ben Hur

This model kit from GMU is a completely new mold! This is one of the most-used transport trailers by the Allies during World War II, and although its official name is "G-518 1-ton two-wheel cargo carrier," it was nicknamed "Ben Hur" after its manufacturer. This trailer could be towed by trucks with a load capacity of 3/4 ton or more, including the W/C 3/4-ton truck, the G-506 1.5-tone truck, the CCKW 2.5-ton truck, and so on. More than 259,000 units of this vehicle were produced from 1941 to 1945.

This model kit comes with photo-etched parts and decals for two U.S. military versions.
